Our Mini Session Leadline Lessons are a condensed program designed to maximize in-saddle time while building confidence, connection, and foundational riding skills. Each lesson is 25 minutes, with the horse closely supervised or controlled by the instructor, allowing new riders to focus on balance, position, and feel without being overwhelmed.
Unlike our full lesson program, which includes catching, grooming, tacking, and riding, Mini Sessions are entirely in the saddle. This shorter, focused format is ideal for young riders and shorter attention spans, while still delivering meaningful progress. These lessons also pair beautifully with our Pony Pals Club, and we encourage families to participate in both when possible for a well-rounded experience.
Mini Session lessons are designed to grow with your child. Riders may participate as long as they meet the age (5–10 years) and weight (under 100 lbs) requirements. As skills develop, so does the curriculum. Riders gradually progress from assisted walk work to more independent control, eventually working toward an unassisted trot.
This program supports riders until they are confident, capable, and ready to transition to our full 60-minute lesson program. With four sizes of horses in our program, there are always new milestones to work toward and celebrate.
All Mini Session lessons are one-on-one and run year-round in our heated indoor arena.
